Winter Break & Moving Schedule

K Williams

December 23-January 5: SMAPA will be closed for Winter break. Happy Holidays!

January 6-12: Parent Observation Week at 14 South Park Street. Families are invited inside the dance studios to watch, and even sometimes participate in their child's dance class. Because we don't have recitals, this is a special class for us as it serves as the child's "performance" for their family. We hope you can attend and share in your child's pride and success.

January 19: last day of the Fall session at 14 South Park Street.

February 3: Spring session starts in our new location at 10 Erie Street Montclair! Registration is open now.

Drop-In Class Rate Change

K Williams

Dear friends,

Starting in September 2024, individual adult classes will increase from $22 per class to $25 per class. And the discounted rate for 10 classes will increase from $200 to $220.

Current 10-class cards will be honored at the original rates for one year from the date of purchase. This includes any 10-class cards purchased before the increase goes into effect, so feel free to buy one or two now! Log in to your online account to buy a new class card at the $200 rate.

While it is never an easy decision to raise rates, we are hopeful that with your understanding and continued support, this rate increase will help SMAPA survive as a not-for-profit arts organization in Montclair.

If you would like to know how many classes you have left on your current class card, or if you have any other questions or concerns about the rate increase, please email us at info@smapa.org.
